Oct 26 hartal called to save Khaleda from appearing before court: Nasim

Health Minister Mohammad Nasim has said that the October 26 hartal has been called for saving BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia from not appearing before court. ‘Every possible action has been taken against sacked minister Latif Siddique both from the party and the government for his derogatory comments on Holy Hajj and religion. Why then hartal is called? This is only for one reason: Save Khlaleda Zia from appearing before the court on the day,’ Nasim, also a presidium member of the Awami League, said at a party programme in the city on Friday evening, according to a news agency.
