Of modernism and modernists
Thursday, 31 December 2009
IT is really a matter of surprise that if one now invents a thing, one is called 'Modernist'. But I would like to ask: Who is more modern or modernist than our greatest and dearest Nabi Muhammad (SM)? Is there anyone who can be compared to our dearest Rasul (SM)? The answer is a clear NO. Even non-Muslims called our last Nabi and Rasul 'Al-amin'.
Our dearest Nabi (Peace be upon Him) says, ''It is I who have narrated all the good words.'' There is, therefore, none like our dearest Nabi (PBUH). He is, indeed, like himself. Many non-Muslims, including the noted historian P K Hitti, admitted this truth.
Regrettably, some so-called non-Muslim historians, philosophers, sociologists and others like them have long been copying the holy words of the greatest Nabi and Rasul, Hazrat Muhammad (SM), and claiming themselves to be 'Modernist'. We urge them to keep themselves away from such activities. By this, you may gain temporary fame, but it will not bring any good to you in the long run. History will testify against you - those who pretend.
