Oil prices drop after rally
Saturday, 28 March 2009
LONDON, Mar 27: Oil prices fell Friday on profit-taking after an overnight rally driven sharp gains on Wall Street, traders said. New York's main contract, light sweet crude for May delivery, dropped 1.13 dollars to 53.21 dollars a barrel. Brent North Sea crude for May shed 1.07 dollars to 52.40 dollars. Crude prices likely ran out of steam amid worries the worst is not over for the US economy, analysts said. — AFP
