Old DOHS relegated from DPL after losing to Partex

Old DOHS Sports Club relegated from the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League after losing to Partex Sporting Club by 89-run in the relegation league hands of match at the Fatullah Outer Stadium Saturday, reports UNB.
After the day's result, Old DOHS SC lost all 13 matches in the season' s league while Kalabagan KC and Partex SC took the 10th and 11th slot bagging with 6 points each from their 12 matches.
The result means that the winner of the last match of the relegation league, scheduled to be held on December 22 at BKSP ground-3, between Partex SC and Kalabagan Krira Chakra will be determined who will survive at the top division next season.
In the day's match, batting first after winning the toss Partex SC scored a fighting total of 269 runs for 5 in 50 overs, spured by an unbeaten century of 107 runs made by Rajin Saleh and a second wicket stand of 132 runs in 28.1 overs contributed by Rajin Saleh and Jony Talukder.
Number three Rajin Saleh hit his ubeaten century of 107 runs off 128 balls with 10 fours and two sixes while Jony Talukdar scored 93 runs off 109 balls with nine fours and three sixes.
Skipper Mehrab Hossain Jr (28) and number seven Shafiul Alam (not out 13) were the other double digit scorers for the side.
Saleh Ahmed Shawon grabbed three wickets for 42 runs in 10 overs while Al Amin Siddik and Raihan Arafat took one wicket each for 27 and 42 runs respectively in 5 and 10 overs.
To set 270 runs to win, Old DOHS SC were all out for 181 runs in 47.2 overs.
Number eight Raihan Arafat scored team highest 44 runs 45 balls with six fours and a six while skipper Nehaduzzaman (31), Hossain Rony (25), opener Rubel Mia (24), Joyraj Sheikh Emon (24) and Ahsanul Haque (13) were the other double digit scorers for their side.
Conceding 30 runs each, Nuruzzaman Masum and Saiful Alam grabbed three wickets apiece in 9 and 10 overs.
Naimul Hasan took two wickets for 32 runs in 6 overs while Azim and Rezaul Karim took one wicket each for 17 and 29 runs respectively in 5 and 7.2 overs.
