Old man commits suicide in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Dec 18 (BSS): A sexagenarian person allegedly committed suicide by taking poison here on Saturday night, police sources said. Victim Mosir Uddin, 60, son of late Dinar Uddin of village Ekbarpur under Mithapukur upazila had been suffering from chronic stomach diseases for a long time and took poison following unbearable pains at his belly. Mosir Uddin was rushed to Rangpur Medical College Hospital in critical condition where he died last night. An unnatural death case was filed in this connection, police said.
