Old man killed in B\\\'baria

BRAHMANBARIA, July 14 (UNB): An old man was killed in an attack over a trifling matter at Najarpur in Bijoynagar upazila early Monday.
The deceased was identified as Amzad Hossain, 60, son of late Rohis Uddin, a resident of the village.
Police and witnesses said around 10:00pm on Sunday, Amzad and Abu Naser, both residents of the village, had an altercation as a cattle of Amzad ran through the house of Naser.
At one stage, Naser hit Amzad in the head with a machete, leaving him injured.
He was first admitted to the district sadar hospital from where he was referred to hospital and died around 2am on the way.
