Old man kills self jumping under train

A sexagenarian man allegedly committed suicide by jumping under a train in Rajpara Police Station area in Rajshahi city on Saturday. Witnesses said the unidentified old man, aged about 65, jumped into a Chapainawabganj-bound commuter train from Rajshahi when it reached near Court Railway Station in the city around 9:30am. His two legs were cut off from the body and he died on the spot. The reason behind the incident could not be known. Manowaruzzman, sub-inspector of Rajpara Police Station, visited the spot, according to a news agency.
