Oli demands trial of BDR mutineers in military court

President of Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Col (retd) Oli Ahmed Monday demanded trial of the Feb 25-26 killers in military court for their mindless killings at the BDR Headquarters, reports UNB.
"Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) is a disciplined force and it has its own rules. But those who staged the tragic incidents should be put on court martial after a fair investigation," Oli told journalists just before LDP's executive committee meeting at its office.
Criticizing the government for resorting to a lengthy process in resolving the crisis, Oli said it was not a wise decision to kill time which ultimately gave the mutineers an opportunity to carry on their barbaric torture on the family members of the army officials.
