OMS soon to ensure food price stability

Food and Disaster Management Minister Dr Abdur Razzak said that the government was considering some immediate measures including open market sale of rice and other essential commodities to ensure a stable market. The measures would also include food for work and distribution of rice and wheat through test relief and vulnerable group feeding programme, he said. The minister was speaking at a seminar on food price inflation at city's LGED Bhaban Saturday. — BSS
