ONE Bank chairman re-elected

The board of directors of ONE Bank Limited has re-elected Zahur Ullah as its Chairman for another one year term from March, 2011. The board has also re-elected Farzana Chowdhury as its Vice Chairperson for the same term, said a press release. Zahur Ullah obtained his BCom (Hons) in Finance from Dhaka University in 1979. He is the Chairman of LL Group involved in buying, manufacturing and exporting of readymade garments and allied products. Mr Zahur is also the Managing Director of Gtex Ltd, Labels and Trims Ltd, Everest Embroidery Ltd and Lamisa Ltd and a director of Holiday Publications Ltd. Farzana Chowdhury obtained her MSS degree in Development Studies. She is an established businesswoman of the country involved in business since 1991. She is also a sponsor director of the blue chip business conglomerate HRC family of companies.
