One crushed under train in Khulna

KHULNA, Jan 23 (UNB): A sexagenarian man was crushed under the wheels of a train in the city on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Wasiullah, 60, a resident of Kulbari in Demra area of the capital.
GRP police said Khulna-bound 'Rocket Mail' from Parbatipur hit Wasiullah while he was crossing the rail track near Nayabati School at about 9:30 am, laving him dead on the spot.Later, police recovered the body.
Wasiullah went to his uncle's house at Uttar Kashimpur in the city and the accident occurred when he was going to catch a bus for returning to Dhaka.
