One dies after boundary wall collapses in Dhaka

A pedestrian has been killed after a boundary wall collapsed and fell on him in Vatara area in Dhaka city. Police, quoting witnesses said, a boundary wall caved in and fell on a passerby when he was walking in the footpath in Vatara on Tuesday morning. The deceased has been identified as Rabiul Awal, 18. Vatara Police Station OC Nurul Muttakin said Rabiul Awal died on the spot as the wall collapsed and fell on him while he was walking past. Being informed, Fire Service and Civil Defence personnel recovered the body, he said, adding that they were trying to get more details of the victim, according to bdnews24.com.
