One dies after two days of zero death

The country witnessed a fresh death from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours ending Wednesday morning following two days of zero death from the disease.
Some 134 positive cases were also reported in the last 24 hours taking the total infection figure to 19,50,980 while total fatalities reached 29,118 in the two years period.
According to the regular bulletin issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Dhaka division reported the lone death in the deadly disease - a male aged between 51 and 60 years.
So far the country logged death rate at 1.49 per cent, the DGHS data revealed.
On the other hand, positivity rate was recorded at 1.27 per cent in the one-day period, which stands at 14.19 per cent for the entire period.
The country reported the first positive case and fatality two years ago.
A lion's share of the new positive cases in the latest tally or the highest 108 patients were reported in Dhaka division, while one was reported in Mymensingh division, 15 in Chattogram, five in Rajshahi, four in Khulna and one in Barishal.
Recovery rate has been registered at 96.04 per cent for the entire period with a total of 18,73,766 people recovering from the disease including 921 in the latest period.
