One dies from electrocution in C’nawabganj

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Feb 8 (UNB): A septuagenarian man died from electrocution and four boys were injured at Begunbari in Gomostapur upazila on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Emaz Uddin,70, a resident of Karnakhali Mirzapur village in Shibganj upazila.
Witnesses said a live electric wire abruptly got snapped and fell down on the building of a local mosque in the area while there were going on Juma prayers at about 1:00pm.
At one stage, Emaz Uddin came in touch with the electric wire while going to attend prayers and died on the spot.
