One gunned down in city

A young man was shot dead in the city’s Mirpur-12 area on Saturday night. The victim was identified as Mohammad Sumon, 38, son of Mohammad Elem, a resident of Munshiganj. Pallabi police said Sumon was found with bullet wounds in his head on road No 8, Block-E, Mirpur-12 at about 9pm. Later, they took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors pronounced him death at about 9:40 pm, according to UNB.
