One gunned down in Pabna, body found

PABNA, Sep 6: A young man was gunned down in a village under Atghora upazila of Pabna on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Bishal Khan, 26, son of late KM Mehedi Hasan Khan alias Masud Khan of Bharathpur village in the upazila.
Quoting family members, police said a gang of 5 to 6 equipped with arms entered the bedroom by breaking open the door of Bishal Khan and shot him, leaving him dead at around 6.00am on Sunday.  
"The victim was shot dead in the bedroom," Alamgir Hossain, sub-inspector (SI) of Atghoria police station said. The SI said the reason behind the murder could not be learnt immediately.
The body was sent to Pabna Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy, the SI said.
Police also arrested nine people in this connection. A case was filed.
In another incident, a missing youth was found dead after four days on Sunday noon. Police recovered the body of the victim from the Padma river in Chartarapur village under the district on Sunday noon.
The deceased was identified as Rafizul Islam, 21, son of Korban Ali of Bonkola village in Sujanagar upazila under the district.
