One held with 10,000 Yaba in Teknaf

Police in a drive arrested a young man along with 10,000 pieces of Yaba tablet at Phuler Dail village in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district on early Friday. The arrested was identified as Syed Hossain, 18, son of Shamsul Alam of the village. Ataur Rahman Khandker, officer-in-charge of Teknaf Police Station, said acting on secret information, a team of police conducted a raid at his house around 12 pm. Later police recovered 10,000 pieces of Yaba tablet from his possession and arrested him, according to a news agency.
