One held with 12 gold bars

Customs officials seized 12 gold bars, weighing 1.2 kg, and arrested a man in this connection at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday night, reports UNB.
The arrestee was identified as Shah Zaman Akon Mohammad Tajul Islam, 42, hailing from Comilla.
Tipped off, customs officials challenged Tajul while crossing the green channel and recovered the gold bars, worth Tk 6.0 million, from his shoes.
