One held with 9,600 Yaba tablets in Teknaf

COX'S BAZAR, June 12 (UNB): Police in a drive arrested a man along with 9,600 pieces of Yaba tablet at Nhilla in Teknaf Upazila on Thursday night.
The arrestee was identified as Jahidul Islam, 50, a gunman of local branch office of Union Bank.
Tipped off, a team of police conducted a raid at the Nhilla branch office of Union Bank around 10:30pm and arrested Jahidul along with the Yaba tablets, said officer-in-charge of Teknaf Police Station Ataur Rahman Khandaker.
