One held with arms

Police in a drive arrested a young man along with a country made pistol from Doulatdia launch ghat of Rajbari road early Saturday. The arrestee was identified as Khorshed Alam (20), son of Shaheb Ali of Korollachari village in Matiranga Upazila of Khagrachhari district. Acting on a tip-off, a team of Goalanda ghat thana police arrested Khorshed along with the pistol. - UNB
