One held with fake currency notes

A man was arrested with fake currency notes from a shop at Darbasta Bazar in Jointapur Upazila of Sylhet Saturday night. The arrestee was identified as Johir Uddin, son of Mahmud Hossain of Kurikhola village in Goainghat Upazila of the district .Police said Johir purchased rice from a grocery store and gave a note of Tk 100 to the shopkeeper. As the shopkeeper found the note fake he with the help of local people caught Johir and informed police. Police recovered three fake notes from his possession. - UNB
