One held with Tk 2.5m gold at Dhaka airport

Customs Intelligence officials at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport arrested a man along with 520 grams of gold worth about Tk 2.5 million on Friday, reports UNB.
The arrestee was identified as Md Faisal Ahmed, 38, a passenger of Malaysian Airlines who came from Kuala Lumpur. He hailed from Munshiganj.
Sources at the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate said Faisal landed at the airport from an airlines flight about 12:30 pm.
He was challenged while trying to pass through the green channel of the customs lunge.
