One held with Tk 30m foreign currencies at ZIA

Customs officials arrested one person with foreign currencies worth about Tk 30 million Saturday morning at Zia International Airport (ZIA), the police said. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Airport police station told the FE that customs officials challenged Abdus Sattar for his suspicious movement when he was about to board a flight to Dubai at about 10am. The arrested person was identified as Abdus Sattar, son of late Osman Gani of the capital's East Tejturi Bazar area. He hailed from Kishoreganj district.
