One hurt in city gun attack

A private car driver sustained bullet injuries in a gun attack by local gangsters in the city’s Shahjahanpur area on Wednesday.
The injured driver was identified as Md Sohel Rana, 30, of Khilgaon, a news agency report confirmed.
Sub-Inspector Enamul of Shahjahanpur Police Station said Sohel Rana was watching a carom game near the Water Pump at Bagicha in the afternoon.
Suddenly, several local youths, including Sarwar, swooped on him at about 5pm and sprayed him with bullets, SI Enamul said quoting victim’s family members.
Sohel Rana was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
The reason behind the attack could not be known immediately.
