One killed, 100 injured in a clash in Habiganj

HABIGANJ, Apr 20 (BSS): A youth was killed and about 100 others were injured in a clash between two rival groups at Kauriakandi village under Baniachong upazila of the district today.
Police said the clash broke out in the morning between two rival groups of villagers over drying of paddy in a yard. Both the groups equipped with local weapons attacked each other.
During the clash, Soyad Ali, 25, son of Abdur Nur of the same village was killed on the spot, while 100 others sustained injuries.
The injured were sent to different hospitals in the district.
