One killed as bus catches fire

SATKHIRA: A man was killed and six people were injured as a bus caught fire following the explosion of its gas cylinder on Satkhira-Jessore road in Sadar upazila  Saturday. The identities of the victims could not be known yet, according to a news agency.
Witnesses said a gas cylinder of the ‘Shohagh Paribahan’ bus coming from Dhaka went off as the vehicle crashed into a roadside tree at Tujulpur around 5:15pm after its driver lost control over the steering.
The bus caught fire following the explosion, leaving a passenger dead on the spot and six others injured.
