One killed in Barisal road accident

BARISAL, Jul 24 (UNB): An-eight-year-old girl was killed in a road accident on Sadar Road in Bakerganj upazila on Tuesday.
The victim was identified as Lamia Akhter, daughter of Motaleb Hossain of Deuli village in the upazila.
Officer-in-charge of Bakerganj Police Station Nurul Islam said a CNG-run auto-rickshaw hit Lamia on the road at noon when she along with her mother went there for Eid shopping, leaving her critically injured.
She was taken to Bakerganj Health Complex where doctors declared her dead.
