One killed in city 'shootout'

A young man was killed in a 'shootout' with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) near Balur Math in the city's Bhashantek area early Saturday. The police identified the deceased as Shahid, alias Nyara Shahid (30), a resident of slum 1 at Bhashantek.
