One killed in road mishap

COMILLA, Jan 5 (UNB): An unidentified man was killed and five others were injured in a road accident at Kutumbopur on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Chandina Upazila Wednesday morning.
Witnesses said the accident occurred when a Dhaka-bound covered van from Chittagong rammed a three-wheeler tempo coming from opposite direction at around 10am, leaving one tempo passenger dead on the spot and five others injured.
The injured were admitted to Chandina Upazila Health Complex.
