One killed in Sirajganj road crash

One person was killed and five others were injured as a bus knocked down a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Ram Char on the Hatikumrul-Bonpara road under Salanga police station in Sirajganj district on Monday night. The deceased was identified as Abdul Jalil, 50, teacher of Bhadas Hafizia Madrasa in Tarash upazila and son of late Jamir Uddin hailing from Ram Char village. Mustafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Salanga Police Station said a Rajshahi-bound bus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in the area around 8.00pm, leaving six people injured. Among the injured, Abdul Jalil died on way to a local clinic, according to a news agency.
