COX'S BAZAR, May 24: An alleged robber was killed in a 'gunfight' with his rivals in the No-14 Bridge area on the bank of the Naf River in Teknaf upazila early on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Sayed Nur Prakash Sona Miah,35, son of Shikder Ali, a resident of Uluchamari village of the upazila. Officer-in-charge of Teknaf Police Station Ataur Rahman Khandaker said the two local robber gangs had long been at loggerheads over robbery in the area. — UNB
