One killed in wall collapse

CHANDPUR, Dec 12 (UNB): A day laborer was killed and three others were injured as a wall collapsed on them at Ghoshpara in Sadar upazila on Sunday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Kader Sheikh, 40, of Govindia village in the upazila. The injured are Anwar Dhali, 40, Shahidullah Gazi, 40, and Khalil Khan, 50. Locals said when the four laborers were constructing a drain the nearby under construction roadside wall collapsed on them at around 4pm leaving them critically injured. They were rushed to the Chandpur General Hospital where Kader succumbed to his injuries.
