One killed,15 hurt in a village clash

FARIDPUR, Apr 26 (BSS): One person was killed and fifteen others were injured Friday morning in a clash over a trifling matter at village Khalishadubi under Ramkantapur union of Saltha upazilla of the district.
According to Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Saltha police station Babu Matubbar, 30 was killed in the clash when his opponents hit him by a country made sharp weapon 'Sarki' on the chest. During the clash at least fifteen others of both the groups received injuries who were sent to Faridpur Medical college hospital as there is no hospital in Saltha.
OC said that both groups used mainly bricks throwing them against each other and other country made weapons.
