One more dies of dengue, nine Covid cases logged

Dengue fever claimed one more life in a period of 24 hours till Saturday morning taking the total death toll to 11 this year.
Besides, 15 dengue positive patients were also hospitalised during the period.
With them, a total of 44 patients are now hospitalised across the country, according to the daily bulletin from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of the patients, 10 were admitted to hospitals within Dhaka city and remaining five were taken to hospitals in other regions of the country.
A total of 977 patients have been admitted to the healthcare facilities so far this year while 922 of them have been released from hospitals after treatment. On the other hand, the country reported 11 deaths from the deadly disease till date taking the latest death toll into account.
April reported two deaths from the mosquito-borne disease, February three and January reported six deaths.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh reported 9 more Covid-19 cases in the 24 hours until Saturday morning.
