One RMG worker dies, 300 sick after taking factory water

Narayanganj, May 3: One worker died and about 300 others fell sick after drinking contaminated water at Supreme Knitwear factory in the Adamjee EPZ area here Saturday. The deceased, Dalia, 20, was a knitting operator at the factory. Sources said Dalia fell sick after drinking water in the factory around 9am. She was rushed to Khanpur 300-Bed Hospital where doctors declared her dead.     — UNB
