Online admission for DU honours begins Aug 24

The online admission process for the first year honours programmes of Dhaka University for the 2015-16 session will begin on August 24 and continue till September 10. The decision was taken in a meeting of the academic council with DU vice chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique in the chair, said a press release. The students are required to have a total GPA score of 8 in SSC and HSC exams to apply for sitting for the ‘Ka’ unit admission test, while GPA 7 for ‘Kha’ unit, GPA 7.5 for ‘Ga’ unit and GPA 6.5 for ‘Cha’ unit GPA 6.5. The score of the optional subjects will also be counted in the total GPA score this year. The admission test of "Ka" unit will be held on October 30, "Kha" unit on October 9, "Ga" unit on October 16, "Gha" unit on November 6, and "Cha" unit on October 17(drawing) and October 10(general knowledge).
