Online hotel bookings on offer

Golden Holidays, a top travel destination management company in the country, has recently teamed up with a Thailand-based company CBS Travel Asia to offer online hotel reservation facilities to travellers.
Through this XML-based online hotel reservation system, called "Hotel Club88," travel agents and tour operators from all over the world including Bangladesh can make bookings for hotel accommodation online with instant confirmation, the company management said.
The system was formally launched in Bangladesh Monday at a city hotel. Secretary to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Shafique Alam Mehdi and top officials of the company was present on the occasion.
"Launching of this online hotel reservation system would usher in a new horizon in tourism and hospitality industry in the country," Mr Mehdi said in his speech.
