Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq has urged the online media outlets to be more careful to disseminate objective news. ‘Online media might create a tough challenge for the print media in future as the internet service has been made available to the common people as part of building a digital Bangladesh,’ he said while speaking as the chief guest at a seminar in the city. The minister said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reached internet facilities to the doorsteps of the people. Therefore, the people are getting news updates every hour, which might throw a tough challenge to the print media, he said, adding that online journalists can play an effective role to upgrade Bangladesh as to a middle-income country through the implementation of ‘Vision-2021’, according to a news agency.
