Opposition chief whip hurt in road accident

Opposition Chip Whip Zainul Abedin Farroque was injured in a road accident in the capital's Gulshan area Saturday, police and hospital sources said.
Farroque received injuries in his head when a bus rammed into his private car at Gulshan-2 at around 5pm, police said.
Soon after the accident, he was admitted to United Hospital in Gulshan.
Hospital officials also confirmed that the opposition lawmaker received head injury, but his condition is not life-threatening.
Police have arrested the driver and the helper of the bus.
