Opposition whip\\\'s home comes under bomb attack

Some miscreants threw a crude bomb at the house of opposition whip in parliament Nurul Islam Omar in Bogra town on Friday evening. Witnesses said a gang of unidentified miscreants hurled the crude bomb at the main gate of the home of Nurul Islam Omar, a Jatiya Party (JP) MP from Bogra Sadar constituency, in Naruli area in the district town around 6:50pm. However, the MP was out of the house during the attack. No one was hurt in the incident. Officer-in-Charge of Bogra Sadar Police Station (Investigation) Nur-e-Alam Siddiqui said they visited the spot, according to UNB.
