Optimal Solutions to expand business in Bangladesh

Optimal Solutions, a leading US-based company, will expand its business activities in Bangladesh aiming to make the country's business sectors digitalised.
It would provide SAP solutions and services to Bangladesh public sector organisations and rapidly growing business in burgeoning vertical markets such as apparel, textile, pharmaceutical, chemical, telecommunications, wholesale distribution and utilities, among others.
Gurvendra Suri, chief executive officer of Optimal Solutions, disclosed this at a press conference at a city hotel.
Suri also said drawing on its entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethics and bold investment strategy, the Bangladesh business sector powered the country's resilient economic growth during 2008-2009 global financial crisis and recession.
To sustain this growth across the region and to effectively compete in today's increasingly global economy, these businesses now need to invest in SAP solutions and become best -run companies.

Subi Krishnan, managing director of Optimal's India-based operations, said in the coming months Optimal plans to hire SAP consultants and SAP sales professionals in Bangladesh
He also said establishing SAP centre of excellence will support Optimal's Bangladesh customers and provide SAP application management services for the region.
