A Narayanganj court has ordered authorities to confiscate all movable assets amassed by Nur Hossain, the prime accused in the 7-murder case. Court police's Inspector Habibur Rahman Mia said Senior Judicial Magistrate KM Mohiuddin issued the order on Wednesday evening on a petition by OC Mamunur Rashid of the district Detective Branch of Police. Rashid, investigating the case over the murders, had filed the petition three days ago, said Narayanganj SP Khandker Mohid Uddin. The order came at a time when Ward-4 Councillor Nur Hossain has already fled to India, a claim Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) made recently. Nur Hossain is accused in the case filed over the abduction and murder of 7 men including Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC)'s panel mayor and Ward-2 Councillor Nazrul Islam and senior lawyer Advocate Chandan Kumar Sarker, according to bdnews24.com.
