Outcry over rape of RMG worker in bus

SHERPUR, Aug 8: Citizens and rights activists of the district Friday condemned the rape of a garment worker by a bus driver inside his vehicle plying Nalitabari-Dhaka route on Wednesday and demanded immediate arrest and punishment of the rapist. The victim -- mother of one child -- was raped by oneRafiqul Islam inside his bus when it reached Mohakhali Bus Terminal in the capital early Wednesday. The victim filed a case with Banani Police Station in the capital Friday. — UNB
