Outgoing envoy of China meets President

Outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Li Jun made a farewell call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban Thursday, reports UNB.
During the meeting, Abdul Hamid expressed gratitude for continued Chinese assistance and support to various key development projects in Bangladesh.
He also expressed satisfaction at the steady growth of trade and economic relations between the two countries.
He thanked the Chinese government for offering super hybrid rice seed to Bangladesh and for the proposal of establishing a Hybrid Rice Laboratory in Bangladesh with a view to helping the country for further reducing poverty.
Li Jun appreciated Bangladesh for cooperation extended to him during his assignment.
The envoy said China wants an exclusive EPZ in Bangladesh for its Chinese investors.
