Outlaw killed in shootout with RAB, police in Pabna

An outlaw was killed in a shootout with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members and the police at Madhugram village in Ataikula Upazila of Pabna district early Saturday, reports UNB.
The dead was identified as Abdus Salam alias Salam (35), a cadre of outlawed Purbo Bangla Communist Party (Lal Potaka).
He was wanted in 16 cases including of murder, the police said. Acting on a secret information RAB-12 of Sirajganj went to Madhugram village of Pabna along with Ataikula thana police when some terrorists were taking preparation for committing robbery at about 3:00 am.
