Outlaw slaughtered to death in Pabna

PABNA, Feb 24: An operative of the outlawed Purba Banglar Communist Party (PBCP- Lal-Pataka) was found dead at Khairsuti village under Pabna Sadar Upazila Thursday. The deceased was identified as Abdul Aziz (40), an activist of PBCP-Red Flag of village Shibpur in Atghoria Upazila of the district. He was accused in several cases including two for murders. Police said that following information the police went to the spot around 9.30 am Thursday and recovered the body from the spot. The Officer-in-Charge of Pabna Sadar police station said that Aziz was slaughtered to death and was dumped on the spot. Quoting the family members the OC of Atghoria police station and Officer-in-Charge of Pabna Sadar police station Rabiul Islam said that the victim was missing for last few days from his residence. The outlawed rivals might have killed him over internal feud, the OCs said. Another held Another message adds: Pabna and Rajbari police jointly arrested a top outlawed operative of PBCP Red Flag faction who is one of the main accused of three unarmed police murder incident. The arrestee was identified as Kismat Ali (30), son of Moslem Mondal of village Char Ramnagar of Pangsha in Rajbari district. Sheikh Jillur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Bera police station in Pabna said that following secret information a joint team of Pabna and Rajbari police and Bera thana police surrounded the Char area of Pangsha Tuesday night where Kismat was hiding himself.
