Outlawed party leader held with firearms

PABNA, May 22 (UNB): Police arrested a regional leader of an outlawed party at Charbalrampur in Sadar Upazila Thursday.
The arrested was identified as Mukul Hossain alias Rokon, 45, a regional leader of an outlawed party and son of late Korban Ali of the upazila.
Tipped off, a team of police conducted a raid on the house of Mukul and arrested him around 2:30 pm, said Ahsanul Haque, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
After primary interrogation, police also recovered two shutter guns and one cartridge from his possession.
