The Willes Little Flower Higher Secondary School in the city has achieved a landmark feat when, for the first time, 99.23 per cent of the examinees passed their SSC exam this year.
The school, established in 1956, is a private educational institution from where a total of 252 candidates appeared in the exams. Of the 249 who passed, 114 secured GPA-5 from all groups.
The total number of students in the school is over 7,000 now.
The current principal of the school, Lt Col Md. Moinul Islam Chowdhury, AEC, who is now abroad, has sent a message congratulating all on the brilliant performance and hoped that the trend will continue in the future.
