Over Tk 1.0m snatched from bKash staffer

Muggers snatched away over Tk 1.0 million from a bKash sales representative in the capital's Jatrabari area Sunday, police said.
The incident took place at about 11:30am at Sheikhpara of the area.
Confirming the incident, Sub-Inspector of Jatrabari Police Station Prosenjit said a group of snatchers intercepted Faisal, the representative, at gunpoint at Sheikhpara while he was going to Jatrabari to collect more money from bKash agents there.
Citing the victim and witnesses, he said the miscreants then took away Tk 10,50,000, the amount collected by him from other bKash agents, after hitting on the victim's head with a firearm.
