Pabna court rejects bail of 29 ruling party men

PABNA, Oct 6: A Pabna court here today rejected bail petition of 29 Awami League, Jubo League and Bangladesh Chhatra League leaders and activists accused in launching attack on government officials and damaging vehicles.
The ruling party leaders and activists manhandled government officials and vandalised vehicles during a recruitment test of the Pabna Deputy Commissioner's Office on September 17.
Two more accused in the case are still fugitive, the court sources said.
